Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy S27 series or a device called the Galaxy S27 Pro. Even so, industry reports and alleged device-database entries suggest that the company may be developing a new Pro-branded Galaxy S model for 2027. The camera information is considerably less certain. In particular, a 200-megapixel main sensor has sometimes been presented as a confirmed specification, although the available reporting does not establish it as fact.
Where did the Galaxy S27 Pro name come from?
The Galaxy S27 Pro name first appeared in industry reporting about Samsung’s future product plans and later in model entries reportedly found in the GSMA database. The reports describe the S27 Pro as a possible new option positioned between the regular Galaxy S27 and the Galaxy S27 Ultra. A database entry can indicate that a device is under development, but it does not guarantee that the product will launch under the same name or with the specifications attached to early reports.
Samsung’s officially announced Galaxy S26 family currently consists of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Pro name should therefore be treated as a possible change to Samsung’s lineup rather than an established part of the company’s current naming structure.
Why the 200MP main-camera claim is not confirmed
One of the earlier camera reports suggested that the Galaxy S27 Pro could share its main and ultrawide camera hardware with the S27 Ultra. The report did not explicitly identify the main camera as a 200MP sensor. The 200MP claim appears to result from combining the expectation that the Ultra will use that resolution with the separate claim that the two phones may share camera hardware.
A newer leak concerning a device believed to carry the internal codename NM3 listed a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera and a 16MP front camera with autofocus. That report did not reveal the main-camera resolution or the optical zoom level of the telephoto module. As a result, figures such as a 200MP main camera and 3x or 5x optical zoom should not be stated as confirmed specifications.
What the camera reports currently indicate
When the available reports are considered together, the Galaxy S27 Pro may receive meaningful upgrades to its ultrawide and telephoto cameras. The newer information points to 50MP sensors for both modules, while a 16MP autofocus selfie camera has also been mentioned. Samsung has not confirmed these details, and specifications attached to engineering prototypes can change before mass production.
Early industry reporting also mentioned a display measuring approximately 6.47 inches. That has led to speculation that the Pro could offer some high-end camera features in a body smaller than the Ultra. The screen size remains unconfirmed as well.
No official price or launch date
There is no reliable official information about the Galaxy S27 Pro’s price in Turkey, processor, memory and storage configurations or peak display brightness. The previous estimate placing the phone between TRY 100,000 and TRY 110,000 was not supported by firm evidence and has therefore been removed from the revised article.
Samsung’s annual release pattern makes an early-2027 introduction plausible, but the company has not announced an event date. A specific month or day should not be presented as a confirmed launch schedule.

The evidence suggests that the Galaxy S27 Pro name may have more support than an ordinary social-media rumor. Most of its camera specifications, however, remain at the leak stage. Newer reports point to 50MP ultrawide, 50MP telephoto and 16MP front cameras, while a 200MP main sensor has not been directly confirmed.
