The Turkish Football Federation has announced the opening-week schedule for the 2026-27 Trendyol Süper Lig season. The new campaign will begin on Friday, August 14, 2026, when Galatasaray host Çorum FK at RAMS Park at 9:30 p.m. According to the federation’s official announcement, the first round will be played across four days from August 14 to August 17 and will include nine matches.
Galatasaray and Çorum FK open the season
The first official match of the season will feature Galatasaray against Çorum FK. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. on Friday, August 14. The fixture will serve as the formal opening of the 2026-27 Süper Lig campaign.
Four matches are scheduled for Saturday. At 7 p.m., Konyaspor will host Çaykur Rizespor, while Kasımpaşa face Trabzonspor. Two more games will begin at 9:30 p.m., with Gaziantep FK meeting Corendon Alanyaspor and Gençlerbirliği hosting Fenerbahçe.
Three fixtures are scheduled for Sunday
The Sunday program begins at 7 p.m. with İstanbul Başakşehir against Kocaelispor. Two matches will follow at 9:30 p.m. Amed Sportif Faaliyetler will host Erzurumspor FK, while Beşiktaş face Eyüpspor at Beşiktaş Park.
The stadium for the Amed Sportif Faaliyetler-Erzurumspor FK match was not listed in the initial schedule. The TFF said pitch and stadium inspections were still continuing and that venues could be changed if a playing surface was not considered suitable. Supporters should therefore check the federation’s updated schedule as matchday approaches.
The round ends with Samsunspor against Göztepe
The first round will conclude on Monday, August 17, when Samsunspor host Göztepe at 9:30 p.m. The opening weekend will therefore include one Friday fixture, four Saturday matches, three Sunday games and one Monday encounter.
