Turkish drivers are facing higher fuel costs after a 1.57 lira per liter increase in gasoline prices. The hike, linked to rising global oil prices, took effect at midnight.
Updated prices in major cities
On Istanbul's European side, a liter of gasoline now costs 69.92 lira, while diesel is 80.07 lira and LPG is 33.79 lira.
In Ankara, gasoline stands at 70.89 lira per liter, diesel at 81.19 lira, and LPG at 33.89 lira. In Izmir, these figures are 71.17 lira for gasoline, 81.46 lira for diesel, and 33.79 lira for LPG.
